Apple Releases Beta 6 of watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 to Developers – Download Now
Today Apple has seen fit to release the sixth beta of watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 tp developers for testing purposes. The new beta update arrives almost a week after the fifth developer beta was released to developers. If you’re a registered developer, you can download the latest beta 6 from the Apple Developer Center on your compatible devices. Let’s dive in to see what the new beta build has in store.
Apple Seeds watchOS 6, tvOS 13 Beta 6 to Developers
If you’re interested, you can install the latest beta 6 of watchOS 6 on your Apple Watch via an appropriate configuration profile which you can get through the Apple Developer Center. Once you obtain the profile, the beta 6 can be installed through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Simply navigate to General > Software Update and then follow the on-screen instructions.
watchOS 6 brings a boatload of new additions to the table like the ability for developers to create standalone Apple Watch apps. This means that the watch itself will be more capable than it currently is. You also have the ability to remove built-in apps. There are new watch faces, new sounds, and numerous new apps like Audiobooks, Voice Memos, Calculator and more. There are a lot more additions, so be sure to stick around.
Moving towards the beta 6 of tvOS 13, it is designed for the fourth and fifth generation of the Apple TV. If you’re interested, the new beta build can be downloaded through a profile that is installed using Xcode.
There are new additions coming to tvOS 13 as well, like multi-user support, Apple Arcade – the company’s upcoming gaming platform and much more.
