Apple Intelligence Beta users can earn points

Apple Intelligence was slated to launch with iOS 18, but a new report may have disappointed future buyers by saying that the company’s full suite of generative AI features will be available in iOS 18.1. However, that has not stopped developers and other users because Apple Intelligence can be tested by anyone with access to the iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, And macOS Sequoia Beta updates. That is not all, because the company is making sure that your efforts of rigorous testing reward you in the future by rating your experience and winning points.

Users can earn points based on the amount of feedback provided about Apple Intelligence Beta, but it is unclear how these can be cashed

Like every other service, Apple Intelligence Beta is no stranger to improvements, which is why MacRumors reports that the company has introduced a new ‘Rate Your Experiences’ feature in its Feedback Assistant app. The feature lets users rate the generative content served by Apple Intelligence across various applications, with the intended aim of using the feedback to refine Apple’s generative models.

“Help improve Apple products and services! Content such as your emails from the Mail app and messages from the Messages app will be displayed to you, along with content generated from them for Apple Intelligence features. This data always remains on your device unless you choose to submit it to Apple, after rating your experience.”

In the Feedback Assistant app, you can ‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’ recent generated content to display your level of satisfaction with the results. If the ‘experience’ shown by Apple Intelligence Beta was not up to your standards, you will be invited to optionally offer more details for submission. This will be done by choosing from pre-defined feedback presented as a checkmark list.

Those who have access to iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, And macOS Sequoia Beta updates will undoubtedly give their feedback with the promise of receiving points for their efforts, but Apple has not mentioned how these points can be leveraged in the future. Given that developers and a small percentage of Apple device owners have access to these betas, the company would likely hand out a limited number of points, but as far as their rewards go, there is little information surrounding the perks of giving your feedback.
