The AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs for the AM5 socket have seen a tremendous amount of deals ever since they launched. Both the standard and the 3D V-Cache boosted variants can be found at prices below their official MSRPs and it looks like the Ryzen 9 7900X3D is the latest chip to see a cut through these discounts.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D originally launched at $599 US and was the mid-point between the top Ryzen 9 7950X3D with 16 cores and the single-CCD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 8 cores. The latter is one of the best-selling and fastest-performing CPUs on the market at the moment. With that said, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPUs can now be bought at a really good discounted price of just $329.99 US and that's a 45% drop versus the MSRP which is phenomenal. The same CPU was available for as low as $389 US just a month ago.

As for specifications, the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPU is based on the Zen 4 core architecture and features a total of 12 cores and 24 threads. The CPU has a base clock of 4.40 GHz & boosts up to 5.60 GHz. The CPU features 12 MB of L2 and 128 MB of L3 cache of which 64 MB is stacked on top of a singular CCD. The CPU has a base TDP of 120W and features a Radeon 610M iGPU with 2 CUs for light workloads and troubleshooting purposes. Overall, the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPU is a very strong multi-threaded chip that competes with the Core i7-14700K, offering better efficiency & the 3D V-Cache helps it in games.

These deals are also getting better and better which means that retailers are getting ready to clear up existing AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU inventory to make room for the next-gen Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" line which is expected to debut at Computex 2024.
