Yesterday it's been confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront, the new game developed by DICE based on the popular franchise, is going to receive its next update this month. The team also confirmed that free DLC packs are also going to be released this month alongside the update. Today, we have finally learned more about these upcoming Star Wars Battlefront DLC packs thanks to a new video shared by EA Brasil.

According to the video, Star Wars Battlefront is going to get a new Tatooine map and new outfits for Luke and Leia this month. The video also confirms that these free DLC packs are not part of the packs which are included in the game's Season Pass. You can check out the video right below.

The upcoming new DLC map isn't the only additional content for Star Wars Battlefront that's been released for free.  Last year the game received the Battle of Jakku DLC, which has been released first only for those who-preordered the game before becoming available for everybody on all formats. The DLC also included a new game mode called Turning Point, where players have to take control of Imperial held bases as the Rebel Alliance.

Turning Point is a vast Star Wars Battlefront game mode for 40 players, included in The Battle of Jakku. The Rebels spawn in and need to locate three control points in Imperial control and try to capture one of these. The clock is ticking, but if the Rebels succeed with a capture additional time will be added and new control points will be available for capture. Moving through these increasingly challenging checkpoints, the ultimate goal is the Empire’s base where the final stand will take place.

Star Wars Battlefront is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new free DLC packs will be released alongside the new update before the end of the month.
