Batman: Arkham Knight, the latest entry in the series developed by Rocksteady Studios, may be getting new features soon, judging from some recent activity on Steam.
As confirmed on Steam Database, a new private branch called patch_test was recently added to the game, with the latest update having been released only four days ago. As the name implies, the developer is testing a new patch for the game, which would be the first in years, which could bring new features. Batman: Arkham Knight RTX Remaster was among the games revealed by the massive NVIDIA leak back in 2021, so the new patch could bring raytracing or NVIDIA DLSS support, among other things.
Despite not being on the same level as some of its predecessors, Batman: Arkham Knight is an excellent open-world game and one of the best games to star Gotham City's Dark Knight. Among the features that set the game apart from the rest of the series is the Batmobile, which opened up many gameplay possibilities, including vehicle combat.
Batman: Arkham Knight is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and will soon hit Nintendo Switch as part of the Arkham Trilogy collection. We will keep you updated on this unannounced PC patch as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
