[UPDATE] The Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition listings are apparently errors, according to CD Projekt RED Marketing and PR idea generator Michal PG, who stated that they're not aware of this edition and that they will look into the matter.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the latest entry of the series developed by CD Projekt RED, has been released less than a year ago, but it seems like a new edition of the game is going to be released next month.

According to a couple European retailers, like French retailer E.leclerc and Belgian retailer Smartoys, The Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition is going to be released in Europe on February 5th. No details are available on this new version of the popular role playing game from last year, but more on the matter will surely come in soon if this Enhanced Edition is indeed real and coming.

Both the original The Witcher and its sequel, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, have received an Enhanced Edition a few months after their release, including additional content as well as several tweaks which vastly improved their experiences. The Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition might be coming sooner than expected, but this early release may not be all that unlikely, especially if the team wants to capitalize on the many awards the game has received in recent times.

While CD Projekt RED is currently working on a new The Witcher 3 patch, which should be released soon, modders are also trying to improve the game in any possible way. A few days ago modder Essenty, creator of The Witcher 3 Super Turbo Lighting Mod, has shared more screenshots of the mod's next update, which will be released on a yet to be revealed date.

The Witcher 3 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will let you know more the Enhanced Edition as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
