This might be the lightest gaming laptop with a GeForce RTX 5070, weighing just 1.6 Kg, which makes it very portable.
Thunderobot Debuts ZERO Air 16 Gaming Laptop That Weighs 1.64 Kg, but Still Brings GeForce RTX 5070 onboard
The new ZERO Air 16 is the world's lightest 16-inch gaming laptop with the GeForce RTX 5070, according to Thunderobot. The manufacturer announced ZERO Air 16 recently, which runs on a Panther Lake CPU, paired with the GeForce RTX 5070 mobile GPU. Thunderobot has been able to cram this hardware inside a thin body that also weighs much less than its competitors.

As per the company, the ZERO Air 16 weighs just 1.64 Kg, making it the lightest 16-inch RTX 5070 gaming laptop on the planet. It uses carbon fiber for its construction, and as per the images provided by @realVictor_M, one variant uses red and black accents on a white chassis, but is also available in a standard grey variant. The laptop uses the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H CPU, which is a 16-core/16-thread Panther Lake chip, paired with the RTX 5070 that brings 8 GB GDDR7 memory.

The machine delivers 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of storage, but the screenshot mentions an "HDD". However, it could be a typo or translation problem, as manufacturers hardly use hard drives in laptops, and considering it's already a lightweight laptop, it will utilize a solid-state drive.
As far as its competitors are concerned, we haven't heard of any such lightweight laptops from LG or ASUS, even though they have their special lightweight and portable models with RTX 50 series. The ZERO Air 16 is reportedly going to be shown at the Bilibili World 2026 event, which will take place from July 10 to July 12 in Shanghai. However, the official launch will take place in August.
