HKC Reveals Specs for RGB Mini LED Gaming Monitors at BW2026, Offering Dual Mode Configuration; Also Debuts an IPS Dual Mode Monitor for the Budget Segment

In the ongoing Bilibili World 2026 event, popular display maker HKC has introduced several new gaming monitors for enthusiasts. The company has revealed the specifications of its first RGB mini LED gaming monitors, which it debuted at the Computex 2026 event. These were two displays that were based on the RGB Mini LED technology, offering exceptional color volume.

RGB Mini LED technology helps the monitors offer pure RGB direct emission, offering a wider color gamut, superior contrast, and incredibly high brightness for vivid visuals. The two monitors that were launched with this technology are APEX 27U165D and APEX 32U165VD. Both are similar in specifications in various areas, except that they offer different-sized panels.

These displays offer 114-bit color precision as per the revealed specifications and offer a low-reflection screen with reflectivity of under 1.8%. Apart from different panel sizes, they both offer dual mode configuration, delivering 165Hz at 4K and 330Hz operation at full HD, allowing users to easily switch between modes according to games. Color gamut is also wide, including color spaces like 99.9% DCI-P3, 99.9% Adobe RGB, 95%/98% BT.2020, and 100% sRGB for vibrant image reproduction.

Unlike regular mini LED panels, these offer an incredible 3456 (27-inch)/4788 (31.4-inch) dimming zones, offering exceptional color reproduction, up to an incredible 1400 nits of peak brightness, and full screen brightness of 700 nits. This is exactly what VESA requires for DisplayHDR True Black 1400 certification for the next-generation OLED panels.

For connectivity, the 32-inch display is equipped with the latest DisplayPort 2.1 for uncompressed visuals and dual USB-C ports, including a 98W PD port for charging devices, while the 27-inch monitor features 90W PD USB-C.

That said, for the budget segment, HKC has other plans. It hasn't ditched the budget segment, considering the majority of gamers won't be able to afford RGB Mini LED monitors. So, it introduced the Falcon 27U165A fast IPS gaming monitor, offering a dual mode configuration to display 4K@165Hz and 1080p@320Hz.

It's also an impressive gaming monitor that delivers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA HDR 400 certification, color accuracy of Delta E < 2, and the latest DP 2.1 (54 Gbps) and HDMI 2.1 ports. It has been priced at 1683 Yuan or US$248, but with 5% discount coupon, users can buy it at 1599 Yuan or US$235.
