Tactical Space Shooter Redout: Space Assault Announced For PC

34BigThings recently announced a new spin-off of their successful futuristic racing game Redout, a tactical shooter called Redout: Space Assault.

Redout: Space Assault will come with both single and multiplayer modes, combining shooter games features with the high-speed experience of the original Redout.

AD 2395. Humanity is facing the most daunting and desperate task in its existence: fleeing Earth. The ruthless Colonization Fleet constantly fights cutthroat rebel bands to secure routes and resources. Pick your loadout, assault mighty Corvettes, escort Cargo ships, engage in furious 1on1 duels, infiltrate colossal Motherships and blow them up from within. Redout: Space Combat will feature an extensive single-player Campaign. But competitive multiplayer is where real pilots will shine, grabbing unique rewards to showboat - colour schemes, liveries, decals and badges.

Redout: Space Assault won't be just about shooting enemies at high speed. Players will also be able to dock and take control of larger ships, move them on the battlefield so to obtain a sound tactical advantage.

Redout: Space Assault launches on PC sometime in the first quarter of 2019. More information can be found on the game's Steam page.
