Steep, the extreme sports game developed by Ubisoft released a while back on PC and consoles, it's going to be available for free on PC for a few days.

The European publisher has confirmed today that Steep will be available for free for all uPlay users from today until May 22nd. Once the game has been added to the user's library, it will be available for download even after the deal period ends.

Steep is a very interesting game that combines sports games with open world mechanics. While controls are not the best, and the experience repetitive, it's still a good game to get if you're into extreme sports and you are willing to look past these issues.

Steep delivers great fun for winter sports game fans, although it can be a little difficult to find amongst a huge map and confusing tutorial/interface. What Ubisoft has tried to accomplish is mostly successful, and fans of winter sports games will find a lot that they recognize and a lot that improves on the genre in this mountain range.

Steep is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions. The game will be available for free on PC until May 22nd.
