Earlier this week, Star Wars Battlefront, the latest game based on the Star Wars franchise developed by DICE now available on consoles and PC, has received its first DLC pack called Outer Rim, which includes a variety of additional content. The pack is only available through the game's Season Pass at the time, but it seems like there's a way for players to check out some of the new content without purchasing it.

Reddit user camzabob has confirmed that it's possible to try out the new weapons introduced by the Outer Rim DLC pack in single player mode. Other users have confirmed that it's the same for them, so make sure to play the game in single player mode if you've been thinking about getting the DLC pack and want to try out some of the content before purchasing it.

Earlier this week, another Star Wars Battlefront update has also been made available on all formats and in all regions. The update introduces plenty of additional free content, such as the Hutt Contacts and plenty of gameplay tweaks that seems to have been very well received by the community, making the experience much more enjoyable than before.

The Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim DLC pack includes new heroes includes Greedo and Nien Numb, new maps, an increased level cap, the new Relby V-10 rifle, the DT-12 Blaster Pistol, and three new Star Cards, Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade and Adrenaline Stim.

Star Wars Battlefront is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Outer Rim DLC is now available for all Season Pass owners. Everyone else will be able to purchase the additional content pack from April 5th.
