After using the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11 as my daily drivers, I have come to really like the design language that the company has gone for. The OnePlus 12, in particular, takes some of the best design DNA from the previous phones and makes it look even better. However, it appears that the OnePlus 13 will take multiple steps back in terms of how the phone will look, and I am honestly not really happy with the approach that the company is going for.
OnePlus 13 appears to be taking several steps back in terms of design
A rather shoddy leak has surfaced on Weibo that shows the back side of the OnePlus 13, and honestly, I am really disappointed because it looks like the OnePlus 10 Pro, which did not have the best design compared to the phones that followed. Again, I cannot really verify the source of this leak to have the same level of integrity, so the final product could change a lot more. You can have a look at the picture below:
Now, there is the usual Hasselblad branding on the camera island. Also, there are three cameras on the back, including a periscope zoom sensor. There is, of course, the camera arrangement we have seen on the OnePlus 10 Pro. However, we cannot confirm that this is the OnePlus 13. So, that is one thing you will have to keep in mind.
With that said, the one thing you should know about the OnePlus 13 is that the phone will go official later this year in the Chinese market. The company will then proceed with an international launch earlier in 2025. As far as the specs are concerned, we are expecting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, a larger battery, super-fast wired charging, and all the goodness that OnePlus is known for. Of course, this image cannot be confirmed, so it is fair that we wait and see the direction in which this device is heading.
