Samsung is going to unveil a host of new devices later this month, including the much-awaited Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. We also know that the company has new tablets and a new watch in store for us, but the latest registrations show that the company could be working on a new kind of wearable, which will be the first from Samsung.
More rumors point toward Samsung working on a smart ring, could be unveiled later this month
Based on a tip from @theonecid, Samsung has gone ahead and registered six new Galaxy brands. This is nothing new because companies tend to do that and end up picking one that fits their product the best. The new Galaxy brands are as follows:
- Galaxy One
- Galaxy Pulse
- Galaxy Rhythm
- Galaxy Index
- Galaxy Insight
- Galaxy Circle
You can check out the original tweet below showing how these names weren't registered long ago, and this gives us a reason to believe that although the company appears to be working on a new wearable, it might not release later this month.

Now, the reason why I believe that Samsung is going to come with a new smart ring is simple. You can look at some of the names, and they clearly indicate that there might be a smart ring in the works. Other than that, if you have been keeping up with the news, we have been hearing about the brand working on a new smart ring that could also be called Galaxy Ring.
At the time of writing, we cannot confirm what Samsung has planned, but we might actually get the chance to look at the new smart ring at the Galaxy Unpacked later this month. For what it's worth, it could also just be something that isn't even going to make a dent or won't even exist, but we cannot say for sure until we have more evidence. Filing names is a common practice
The Galaxy Unpacked is taking place on July 26th, and we are going to see what Samsung has in stores for us. We might get a new smart ring called Galaxy Ring, or we might just see a hint of it.
