Rise of the Tomb Raider, the new episode of Lara Croft's adventures, is less than two months away at least for Xbox users. The game is in fact scheduled to release on November 10 for Xbox 360 & Xbox One, while PC gamers will have to wait for early 2016 and PlayStation 4 gamers for Q4 2016, due to the temporary exclusivity agreement snatched by Microsoft.

Understandably, publisher Square Enix is ramping up the promotion of Rise of the Tomb Raider and today, a brand new trailer titled Descent into Legend has been shared.

However, for those of you who want to take a closer look at the gameplay, here's a brand new 15 minutes long video from the Xbox One version of the game.

Lara goes to Siberia in search of more proof regarding immortality

Rise of the Tomb Raider won't have a full blown open world, but Crystal Dynamics has promised larger levels that will offer enhanced exploration. Survival and crafting will be more important too, while the additions of dynamic weather and a proper day/night cycle will make the world feel ever-changing.

The developers have also dropped multiplayer entirely in order to add more tombs, which is great news for old-school fans of the franchise.

In terms of story, Lara goes to Siberia in search of more proof regarding immortality, after witnessing the supernatural for the first time in Tomb Raider with the Sun Queen Himiko.

Stay tuned for our continued coverage of the game.
