Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Preload Available Now; Clocks in At Nearly 110GB on PC

Red Dead Redemption 2 update 1.32

The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC preload is available now ahead of the game’s release next week on November 5.

Developer Rockstar Games announced the arrival of the preload through Twitter some hours ago. Those who have pre-purchased the highly-anticipated PC version of the game can now preload it on their system through the Rockstar Launcher.

The size of the preload is roughly 110GB for PC players, which is larger than the game’s digital size on both Sony's PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One.

Red Dead Redemption will release on November 5 for PC. The game was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in October of last year. After months of speculation, Rockstar Games finally announced the PC version last month.

"The first game in the Red Dead Redemption series to be featured on the PC platform, Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC features a range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion along with new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more", the press release reads. "Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC also includes free access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online featuring all previously released improvements and the latest content updates for the complete online experience including Frontier Pursuits and the specialist Roles of Bounty Hunter, Trader and Collector for players to progress through and earn unique rewards."
