The GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 Founders Edition are the only two RTX 50 series FE designs you can find selling in China but they are available in limited quantities.
People Lineup in Long Queues at the NVIDIA Booth to Grab an RTX 5080 or RTX 5070 FE Card, Since These are Hard to Find
The GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs are now selling like hotcakes. Whether you check the latest data for the GPU sales on major retailers like Amazon or the latest Steam Hardware Survey, the RTX 50 sales are not only higher than before but the availability is now stable. Despite this, the Chinese market continues to see limited supply of the Founders Editions of the RTX 50 series GPUs.
In China, finding an FE card is rare and the only two RTX 50 FE cards, which are available are the GeForce RTX 5080 FE and RTX 5070 FE. But unlike other custom cards, users can't just visit any store to get them since they are only available at JD.com (Jing Dong), which is one of the biggest online marketplace in China. However, gamers were offered a chance to get these cards at the Bilibili World event 2025, where both the RTX 5080 FE and RTX 5070 FE were sold at the NVIDIA booth.
And as you can see, there are numerous people lined up in long queues to get their hands on one of these GPUs. Almost everyone is seen with a huge green bag with the GPU name printed on the outside. These were probably distributed through the ticket counter before lining up in the queue towards the NVIDIA booth. Now, if someone wants to get the Founders Edition cards, then they will have to buy them from JD, but both of these GPUs are out of stock most of the time.
The long queues show that the Founders Editions are really popular amongst gamers in China, and even though they can easily buy more powerful custom editions from various vendors, many prefer to shop for the FE cards, even if they have to wait for hours. We don't know how many times such events are organized where NVIDIA sells the Founders Edition through its booths, but it is surely rare.
