Nioh is without a doubt one of the more interesting PlayStation 4 exclusives releasing in the near future, and players have been able to check the game out themselves a while back thanks to an Alpha demo, which confirmed how brutally difficult the game can be. If you haven't had enough of suffering and pain, you'll be happy to know that some new Nioh gameplay footage has emerged online a few hours ago.

The new Nioh gameplay footage, shared by PlayStation Access, showcases even more brutally difficult gameplay that should make fans of the Souls series quite happy. Truth be told, it seems like difficulty has been toned down a bit since the alpha demo, but with the game still being far from releasing, we should expect to see more of these tweaks in the future. You can check out the new Nioh gameplay footage right below.

As already mentioned, the Nioh alpha demo has been made available in all regions around 2 months ago. The demo included plenty of interesting features that are rarely seen in console games, such as Movie Mode and Action Mode, two modes that allow players to give priority to resolution and frame rate respectively. Action Mode is especially welcome for a game such as this, allowing it to run at a frame rate higher than 30 FPS.

A few months back, Koei Tecmo finally confirmed that Nioh will be released in the West later this year. The alpha demo was also announced back then, as a way to thank fans for their patience.

Nioh launches later this year in all regions exclusively on PlayStation 4. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
