Although the start of the Destiny 2 beta on PlayStation 4 went through some problems to give access to all the fans interested in testing the new Bungie game, those who managed to enter and try the title noticed that, among various new features, there is a new system of modification for weapons and armor that no longer depends so much on chance as Destiny did.

According to a report from PCGamer, after testing the Destiny 2 Beta it was verified that weapons and armor can be modified in statistics and colors to suit the user.

In Destiny the loot came with packages of improvements and modifications that depended on an internal system which generated what you would get by chance; this time that system was changed to give greater freedom to the players and that they can make modifications to their weapons and armor without luck having to see.

In that sense, it was confirmed that when entering the inventory menu there are blocks that allow the modification of the weapons.

The first block allows you to make a combination of the weapon with which you count and one of the same type but with better statistics so that once you carry out the procedure your weapon will absorb the level of the other and you will improve it.

The second block is focused on the selection of improvements that will accompany your armament and that will be integrated according to your decision.

Finally, the third block will open the way for you to make aesthetic changes in weapons and armor in Destiny 2, something that was only available for exotic weapons in the first game, so that now you can change the colors of your armament and parts of your armor without having to respect some agreement between the colors, which will generate all kinds of combinations for the new title.

It should be mentioned that, at least in the Destiny 2 beta, the modifications do not contemplate exotic armament and it is expected that this will remain the same once the game is released.

Destiny 2 will launch on September 6th on PS4 and Xbox One. PC users will have the chance to try the Destiny 2 beta via Battle.net in August, while the full game will be available on October 24th.
