Tassei Dinki's idea behind the handheld was to stand out amongst others since they believe that the handheld industry has seen "saturation" and is confined to a particular design language.

Tassei Dinki aims to make things much simpler, providing consumers with a platform to run "retro and modern games on the go." The company explicitly mention the inspirations taken from "Nintendo 3DS" on the device's info card, which shows that Tassei Dinki plans on targeting this device towards Nintendo enthusiast, especially those who are eager to have a "nostalgic" experience with a current-gen devices.

Based on the minute specifications shared, the handheld is equipped with a 90Hz AMOLED panel, coming at a maximum 2400 x 1080 resolution. While the company didn't disclose the actual specifications, it was revealed through the company's textual description that the device may feature a "Ryzen 5" SoC, probably from AMD's Phoenix APU lineup. The Phoenix series has seen wide popularity in the handheld industry, particularly due to its price-to-performance ratio.

Nintendo 3DS was indeed an iconic device, and its current-gen "refresh" would definitely pop off.
