Both iPhone 7 Models Are Going To Come In The 256GB Capacity Variants
With a higher resolution and bigger battery, Apple always seems to be giving preference to its phablet version of the iPhone, but as far as the storage is taken into account, both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are going to feature the same amount of internal memory when their highest capacity models are taken into account.
While iPhone 7 And iPhone 7 Plus Will Sport 256GB Of Internal Memory, The Latter Could Only Come With A Dual-Camera Setup
A report coming from Apple Insider states that both upcoming smartphones are going to feature 256GB of internal storage. Phablets have a natural advantage of being able to sport a large battery capacity due to its sheer size, so nothing can be done on that front, unless of course Apple is willing to sacrifice the sleek form factor of its 4.7-inch iPhone 7. We have also learnt that with the latest storage models, comes another change; both upcoming devices could feature 32GB of memory as their base models, thus getting rid of the 16GB version altogether.
This will definitely be embraced with open arms, unless of course Apple has something else coming in our direction. While the internal memory is something that is going to remain constant between the two phones, here are other things that are also expected to be present.
iPhone 7 could possibly feature a touch-sensitive home button, along with a waterproof chassis. The last time a feature like this was reported, details were extremely scarce, other than the fact that there was going to be a rubber seal present at the outline of the smartphone body in order to prevent water from seeping, which is kind of like what you see in GoPro waterproof housings.
iPhone 7 could also have a ‘bezel-less’ display, and both this and the upcoming 5.5-inch phablet are expected to be even more appealing than their previous generation counterparts. Moreover, the upcoming products are expected to be incorporated with EMI shielding technology, which is one of the contributors why your phone dies on you at a quicker pace.
Now, unlike iPhone 6s, we certainly do not want a battery downgrade from the upcoming iPhone 7. We aren’t concerned about iPhone 7 Plus, we know it’s going to feature a massive cell inside its housing, but with all the technology crammed inside the 4.7-inch screen of the smaller iPhone, we cannot help but wonder how Apple is going to impress all of us in the battery department.
