If the latest rumor turns out to be true, then Apple will finally be shipping its iPhone 7 models in a storage capacity that will make us appreciate the efforts of the company even more.
iPhone 7 Models Expected To Come In The 32, 128 And 256GB Capacity Models
In what appears to be a questionable revelation of the storage capacity of iPhone 7, it was high time that Apple got rid of the 16GB model completely. Such a modicum amount of storage presents a great deal of encumbrance, even though you’ll probably end up becoming quite proficient as a storage manager. With 32GB of internal memory, users will have more freedom to manage their storage when it comes to installing updates, and when it comes to installing a myriad number of apps.
Now that future iPhones are going to be equipped with camera sensors that can record 4K footage, you will obviously need that additional storage at your disposal. As for the rest of the hardware, iPhone 7 is also going to be powered by a A10 SoC manufactured on the 10nm FinFET SoC, and we believe that a large chunk of the shipments are going to belong to TSMC, while the rest of them will be from Samsung.
Other details of the upcoming smartphone include 3,100mAh battery upgrade, which is huge even by Apple standards, along with on-board storage increased to 256GB. We expect that 256GB will be nice little upgrade for those who have capped their 128GB internal memory (for a premium price obviously).
iPhone 7 could also have a ‘bezel-less’ display, and both this and the upcoming 5.5-inch phablet are expected to be even more appealing than their previous generation counterparts. Moreover, the upcoming products are expected to be incorporated with EMI shielding technology, which is one of the contributors why your phone dies on you at a quicker pace.
If the rumor ends up becoming true, would you feel that Apple has done the right thing in increasing the base storage? Let us know what you think immediately.
