Fresh iPhone 11 CAD Renders of All Three Models Allegedly Leaked; Rear Camera Placement, Design, and More Details Shown
As we continue to near Apple’s iPhone keynote launch in September of this year, you can rest assured that a combination of leaks and rumors will flow in our direction and at a fast pace. The latest leak concerns a group of allegedly leaked iPhone 11 CAD renders, revealing several key details that you will be interested in. Regardless of whether you think these details are minor or not, they are still worth a look, so check them out.
New CAD Renders Confirm Previous Rumors and Leaks About Triple Rear Camera Setups for the Two Premium iPhones
The three iPhone 11 CAD renders originate from Slashleaks and provide schematics for the iPhone 11R, and the two expensive models which we’ll refer to as the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Max. While the Olixar case leaks revealed the camera hump and the number of sensors for the largest model, here, we can take a closer look at all three versions that Apple is slated to launch later this year.
The iPhone 11 CAD renders for the cheaper model, the iPhone 11R, reveal a dual-camera system at the back, along with a 6.1-inch display whose text is provided in the image. For quite a while, we’ve known that the cheapest model for this year will maintain an LCD screen and the same 6.1-inch display as its predecessor. However, it could be the last iPhone ever to feature such a panel as Apple reportedly looks towards an ‘all OLED iPhone future’. The image also shows that the iPhone 11R might sport thinner bezels than its predecessor, but we’ll get to know how razor thin those bezels really are during the official launch.
Coming to the more expensive models, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max CAD renders display a triple-camera setup on the rearside, with a camera hump expected to be present on all three models. The iPhone 11 is expected to maintain a 5.8-inch OLED screen, while the biggest one out of the trio will tout a gigantic 6.5-inch display. Both screen sizes haven’t changed when comparing them to their predecessors, so expect a small list of upgrades and changes on the outside.
These iPhone 11 CAD renders also show a bevy of sensors on the top of the display, showing that Apple will maintain its Face ID feature, but this time, we could be treated to a faster face unlocking experience thanks to newer components. Another feature that we won’t notice on the surface is reverse wireless charging. This feature will be able to top up other Qi-enabled devices, which might explain why the iPhone 11R could feature the biggest battery ever seen on any iPhone model to date that ships with a single cell.
The iPhone 11, on the other hand, is expected to get a 20-25 percent bump in battery capacity, while the iPhone 11 Max could get an increase of 10-15 percent. Keep in mind that both of these models are expected to ship with two charging cells configured in an L-shaped orientation, which is why they could be touting higher overall capacities. This increase in capacity will help to top up those Qi-enabled devices while providing additional screen-on time to users.
As evidenced by these iPhone 11 CAD renders, the only physical difference we can spot is the camera hump and the number of lenses at the back for each model. If you feel you can identify more of them when comparing them to the iPhone 2018 range, let us know down in the comments right away.
