Getting Started

Although generally easier than Returnal, Saros has its unique quirks you need to understand from the beginning of your exploration of Carcosa to improve some of the experience's friction.

Combat

Housemarque's signature bullet-hell gameplay is further refined in Saros, with new masterfully crafted mechanics that add depth to the experience without overcomplicating it.

Character Progression

Arjun's prowess as a Soltari Enforcer increases as you explore Carcosa's biomes and take advantage of the game's character progression mechanics.

Difficulty

Saros provides granular control of the game's difficulty via dedicated gameplay mechanics and a modifier system.
