We got to see Samsung Good Lock back in action several years ago when it was released as a customization tool for KitKat devices. Somewhere down the line, Good Lock was scrapped and didn’t see the light of day until recently, when Samsung re-released it for the Korean market. You can still use most of its features via individual APKs, and today, we’ll take a closer look at one of its apps that adds 30 new customizations for the lock screen.

The app is called ClockFace, supports all devices running Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0, and has a variety of new clock faces that you can set separately for both Always On Display and for the lock screen. Here is how you go about using it

Step 1: Download and install its APK file using the link. You will have to allow of third-party apps before proceeding. After installing the app, navigate to Settings> Lock screen and security. We’ll be focusing exclusively on Always On Display customizations here, but the same process can be repeated for Lock Screen settings.

Step 2: Enable Always On Display via the toggle in the menu. Once that’s done, tap the Clock and FaceWidgets option and then tap Clock style.

Step 3: Here, you’ll see several clock styles for Always On Display. Scroll to the end of the list and tap the last clock style.

The app should work on most Galaxy S7, S8 and S9 devices, although I can’t get it to work on my S9+ for some reason. I’ll update the article once I manage to get it working.
