The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra have officially found their place on the list of flagships that were scheduled to be announced in 2025. Samsung has once again stuck to its usual strategy of unveiling three high-end models, but there is a little twist in the Korean giant’s strategy because later this year, a ‘Slim’ variant that ships with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite as the three handsets but boasts a thinner chassis, is said to arrive later this year.
With the company lifting the embargo, it was only a matter of time before a slew of content creators would upload their first impressions and unboxing clips of the latest Galaxy S25 range. For the most part, the Galaxy S25 Ultra appears to have received the biggest design change because instead of sharper corners, the flagship features rounded ones, which makes it easier to hold.
The remaining Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ look virtually identical to their immediate predecessors, with Samsung likely banking on the internal upgrades and improved Galaxy AI to boost sales. For those who currently own any of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 models, the company is running attractive trade-in deals for those who want to gravitate to any of the newer versions, so we recommend checking those out in detail.

As you would have guessed, some of these content creators are not too pleased with what Samsung has introduced this year, with some YouTubers’ body language appearing underwhelmed by the launch. However, while the opinions of these individuals can be taken seriously, what matters most is how well the Galaxy S25 family will sell. Given the slew of upgrades that Samsung has introduced this year, we expect a slightly better reception compared to the Galaxy S24 launch, and we will revisit the sales performance after a quarter of the year has passed, so stay tuned.
