Samsung is preparing for the big event tomorrow, and we expect the company to unveil major product upgrades and highlight the new Galaxy AI capabilities it plans to integrate. The company is set on rolling out the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, as well as showcasing the latest wearable tech, including the Galaxy Ring. Along with these updates, the tech giant plans to take on Apple with their new earbuds, which will mirror the stem design of AirPods. The price of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro have surfaced online, which shows no major increase than its predecessor.
Samsung's Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro pricing revealed for South Korea in retail listing, users can be happy about no major price changes
In the last few weeks, several reports have revealed the revamped design of the new wireless earbuds, and the inspiration seems to stem heavily from Apple's AirPods. The company is letting go of the classic look to offer better stability and more voice clarity, along with the option to incorporate a bigger battery compared to its previous versions.
While we have seen the fresh look of the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, there were several conjectures about the price hike due to the added features in the upcoming earbuds. However, tipster Kuma_Sleepy (via SamMobile) put these speculations to rest by sharing a screenshot on X that showed the price details for Samsung's next-in-line earbuds and its 'Pro' version.

The screenshot shared is from a South Korean retailer, suggesting the Galaxy Buds 3 series will follow approximately the same pricing as the previous version. The Galaxy Buds 3 is said to cost KRW 203,700 ($148), and the Buds 3 Pro costs KRW 296,700 ($215) in South Korea. It can be seen that the price level is more or less the same as the current versions.
Samsung priced the Galaxy Buds 2 at KRW 149,000 and the Buds 2 Pro at KRW 279,000, and if you compare the prices, the new wireless earbuds are ever so slightly higher than their predecessor. The jump is almost negligible, giving users more reasons to look forward to the new series. It is important to highlight that the pricing may vary according to region as the conversion rates tend to be different, and we could see the same prices altogether as last year.
Irrespective of the slight price adjustment that might follow according to different regions, users are anticipating the fresh look of the Buds 3 series and the charging case with LED lights. We also expect the addition of the pinch gesture for controls along with the swipe and tap gestures. We are looking forward to the Galaxy devices being revealed tomorrow at the Unpacked Event 2024, which will take place in Paris at 9 a.m. EDT.
