Apple has released watchOS 4.2.3, tvOS 11.2.6 as well as macOS 10.3.3 Supplemental Update with Telugu crash fix. These are important updates and here's how you can download them right now.
Apple's Promised Telugu Character Crash Fix Has Arrived in the Form of watchOS 4.2.3, tvOS 11.2.6 and Supplemental Update to macOS 10.3.3
When it was revealed last week that a simple Indian character was able to crash any iOS device or Mac to oblivion, Apple promised that a fix was in the works to patch the issue once and for all. Today is the day, and Apple's fix is rolling out to everyone around the world. iPhone and iPad users can download the fix in the form of iOS 11.2.6.
Download watchOS 4.2.3
In order to download watchOS 4.2.3 right now, first of all makes sure that your Apple Watch is placed on its magnetic charger and you are connected to a WiFi network. All set? Now just launch the Watch app on your iPhone, navigate to General > Software Update and download the available update. This will take a while therefore exercise some patience while everything is going through.
Download tvOS 11.2.6
Though we don't have a changelog as yet to what tvOS 11.2.6 brings with it, but it's highly likely a bug fix release, nothing more. In order to grab this update, just turn on your Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Software Updates. Install the available update from here.
macOS 10.3.3 Supplemental Update
This update is a rather small one and adds nothing more than the Telugu crash fix for Mac users. In order to install it, just launch the Mac App Store and go to the Updates tab. The update should show up in a few seconds for download. The installation will require you to restart your Mac therefore please save your work before proceeding.
It is highly recommended that you take the time out to install all of these updates otherwise you will run into some problems, especially if you have troll friends.
You've been warned.
