Apple has released beta 3 of iOS 11.2.5, macOS 10.3.3, watchOS 4.2.2 and tvOS 11.2.5. Here's how you can update right now.
New Betas of Apple's Software Lineup has Arrived. Time to Install Beta 3 Right Now.
Thanks to the holiday season, Apple shut down its software lab to focus on other things. Such as hanging up decorations on a Christmas tree and whatnot. But, those day are behind us now, and the new year has arrived. With that, new software from Apple has arrived for developers too. This includes the beta 3 of iOS 11.2.5, macOS 10.3.3, watchOS 4.2.2 and tvOS 11.2.5. All of these updates are available over the air, which means you can download them without having to lose your files or connect your device with iTunes.
If you already have iOS 11.2.5 Beta installed on your device, then installing beta 3 is a breeze. Connect your device to WiFi, launch the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update. After a few seconds the update will show up and all you have to do is tap on the Download and Install button.
macOS 10.3.3 Beta users can download the latest build over the air as well. Just launch the Mac App Store and install the update from the Updates tab at the top. You will be required to restart your Mac therefore save all your work ahead of time.
watchOS 4.2.2 is available over the air and the process can be kicked off immediately by first placing your Apple Watch on the magnetic charger. Once done, navigate to Watch > General > Software Update on your iPhone and install the update from there. This will take some time so hang in time.
Last but not the least, tvOS 11.2.5 Beta 3 can be downloaded by going to Settings > System > Software Updates on your Apple TV. But of course, you should be running an earlier beta or so in order to get going.
If there's something really appealing in this release we will highlight it here.
