Download Nexus 5X Android Marshmallow Factory Images – Direct Link
You can now download the Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory images of the newly released Google Nexus 5X smartphone.
The Nexus 5X went on sale just yesterday and Google has acted swiftly by posting the factory images of said device on its very own developer website. There are a total of three download files, and at this current point in time, it’s unclear why Google has posted more than one image on its website for just one smartphone. We’re guessing that there’s barely any difference between them.
If you’re looking to give the files a download, then you can do so from the following links:
At this point in time you must be wondering why you’d need the factory images at all. See, the thing is, at times you’ll reach a point in device usage where you’d want to slam your hands on the table and would want to revert back to how things originally were. If you do manage to achieve that dreaded status, then you’ll need the factory images of the Nexus 5X (in this case) to ‘fix’ things, or if you just want to start over fresh.
Google announced two smartphones at its event over a couple of weeks back – the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. The Nexus 5X is the cheaper of the two devices, but packs a great punch under the hood with a lot of amazing features such as a fingerprint sensor, a powerful camera and as well as a USB Type-C port for charging and syncing your data.
On the software front, the Nexus 5X and 6P both come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard. In fact, these are the first ever devices to ship with Google’s latest OS right out of the box. And during our usage of Marshmallow, it’s safe to say that Google has done a mighty fine job in refining its mobile operating system and took things even further with more under-the-hood changes rather than giving corners an overhaul while sacrificing functionality.
If you’ve been looking to download the factory images of the Nexus 5X then you can do so from the links which we have embedded above. And remember, if you have no idea how to deal with the Android OS in conjunction with ADB + Fastboot then we suggest that you steer clear of things and let an expert handle things for you.
