BioShock The Collection Clocks In At Nearly 70GB On Xbox One
Free up some much needed drive space as Bioshock The Collection weighs in at approximately 70GB on Xbox One.
The Bioshock Collection has became available for pre-order and pre-download just now, and includes the original Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock: Infinite. While the install size of the BioShock bundle hasn’t been provided, the individual titles account for a massive install size on Xbox One – nearly 70GB when combining the install size for all 3 games.
Bioshock: Infinite is a different beast as it fills up approximately 36.35GB on Xbox One – that’s more than both Bioshock and Bioshock 2 combined. On Xbox 360, Infinite required only 6.49GB back in 2013.
In general sizes between consoles don’t differ that much so expect a roughly similar file size on PS4.
The Bioshock Collection was officially announced by 2K Games back in June of this year.
Three BioShock games. All of the single-player DLC. Remastered for modern machines. One value packed bundle.
It’s been nine years since Irrational Games and 2K took you on a terrifying journey to the depths of the underwater city of Rapture with BioShock. Five years since you returned to Rapture in BioShock 2. Three years since you grabbed a skyhook and sailed across the floating city of Columbia in BioShock Infinite. And on September 13, 2016 (September 15 in Australia and September 16 internationally), you can relive these award-winning adventures or experience them for the very first time remastered for current-gen consoles and digital PC with BioShock: The Collection.
Bioshock: The Collection releases on September 13th in North America for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Australians will be able to play the collection 2 days later, while the rest of the world can enjoy the title on September 16th.
