New Assassin’s Creed Mirage story trailer and gameplay footage were shared online today, showing more of the next entry in the series launching this October on PC and consoles.

The new trailer and gameplay footage, which were shared during today's Ubisoft Forward, further confirm how the game is going back to the root of the series. Set right after Basim has taken down the first big target of the adventure, the new footage shows some extremely familiar stealthy gameplay and none of the role-playing game mechanics that powered the main entries in the series since Assassin’s Creed Origins.
