Even though Apple does not take part in public demos of its gadgets at the Consumer Electronics Show, but it makes sure that it's executives and representatives are present for the manufacturers of its products and services. CES 2018 takes place over a course of this week in Las Vegas, Nevada. More importantly, augmented reality was certainly a technology worthy of a display.
Behind the scenes, Apple sent its folks to Las Vegas to speak to a wide range of manufacturers bridging to the AR industry. Possibly, the effort was a step forward for its often rumoured augmented reality headset or glasses.

While VR headsets gathered a lot of traction at the CES 2018. Apple requires advanced hardware and software manufacturers to pull off the 'quality' that it desires for its ultra-hyped AR headset.
