NVIDIA’s GeForce Driver 372.70 WHQL is out now and can be downloaded via GeForce Experience. This driver provides optimization for a number of games, starting with World of Warcraft: Legion (out today) and Battlefield 1 Open Beta (out tomorrow for everyone and today for Battlefield Insiders).

However, this new GeForce Driver will also provide an optimized experience for the upcoming Steam release of Remedy’s Quantum Break. The game launched on Windows Store in April, but it had several performance issues and it never received any support for multiGPU configurations; in fact, Remedy stated that such an addition was out of scope for the project.

It seems like NVIDIA is adding SLI support with this driver, though of course we’ll have to test its efficiency. This version will run on DirectX 11; the official Steam page provides the following specifications.

MINIMUM:

  • OS: Windows 7 – 64 bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 68 GB available space
RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: Windows 10 – 64 bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 4690, 3.9GHz or AMD equivalent
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 390
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 68 GB available space
