The new Doom will be revealed at Bethesda’s E3 2015 press conference next month, and with the recently released teaser, anticipation is running wild. Today a set of screenshots from the cancelled version of Doom 4 were revealed as well as a video. This seems to be the real deal, even though it looks more like a cross between Call of Duty and Killzone rather than a Doom title.

Considering that this retains none of the attributes of the Doom series, we should be pleased that it was cancelled.

Thankfully next month Bethesda will have the first public reveal of Doom, alongside some other exciting announcements and reveals, including the hugely anticipated Fallout 4.

It has also been recently revealed that Bethesda hired Guillermo del Toro’s Production Company to create a cinematic trailer for Fallout 4, as well as talks that Fallout 4 Will Get 20-30 minutes of Gameplay Footage at the conference. Whether the gameplay footage will be showcased behind closed doors or as part of the press conference is not known as of yet, although we do hope it’s the latter.

Bethesda is also rumored to be revealing a teaser for Dishonored 2, with a possible announcement for the Dishonored Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
