[Update] It’s now been confirmed that the Eclipse DLC is also available for pre-load in North America.

[Original Story] In just a few days, those playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4 will soon be able to purchase and enjoy the second DLC map pack, which will be called Eclipse. If you cannot wait to play on the maps included in the DLC pack, you’ll be happy to know that the Eclipse DLC is already available for pre-load.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3

According to a few reports, it’s now possible to download the Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC pack in Europe. Unfortunately, it seems like those who have purchased the game’s Season Pass are not yet able to pre-load the Eclipse DLC, as the download can only be initiated after purchasing the DLC pack, something that is not possible once the Season Pass has been bought. We don’t know if the DLC pack is also available for pre-load in North America, but we should learn more about the matter very soon. As previously reported, the Eclipse DLC pack is around 7.2 GB big.

A few days ago, new trailers have come in for the Zetsubo no Shima new Zombies adventure, which is part of the new content included in the Eclipse DLC pack. The four additional multiplayer maps are called Spire, Rift, Knowckout and Verge. The Verge map is going to be especially interesting, as it’s the re-imagining of a Call of Duty: World at War map called Banzai.

Earlier this week, Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar has shared more on possible balance changes coming to the game in the future. As a new patch is surely going to be released for the game to add compatibility with the new DLC pack, we should expect some of these changes to be implemented quite soon.
