YouTube Music and YouTube Premium Reaches 100 Million Subscribers

YouTube has announced that its Music and Premium services have hit 100 million subscribers, and what's even more impressive is that Google One is about to hit the same milestone. The 100 million figure includes those using the platform on a trial basis. The platform also talks about how it has seen 20 million members coming to the platform in a little over a year.

YouTube Music and Premium are growing, and we cannot wait for the services to get even better going forward

Talking about the occasion, YouTube reminisces about 2015 and says:

“…we believed that there was an appetite for a YouTube experience that benefited not only our users, but the creator and artist community as well, and we announced a new subscription service alongside a brand new app, YouTube Music.”

YouTube also talked about how the company learned a lot, made some changes, went for rebranding, and even expanded its plans and what it offers. Additionally, the company talks about how Premium and Music are now available in over 100 countries and regions, making it one of the most expansive offerings in the market.

It is safe to say that YouTube's upward trajectory is something that is not going to stop any time soon. The company is constantly looking to expand and introduce new features that make users want to subscribe and even use its paid tiers. Not only that, with the arrival of generative AI in almost every product and service, one can only imagine how the video streaming platform will leverage it.

You can expect YouTube Premium, Music, and other services to expand even more in the coming months and years. There is no denying that we will get many more amazing services and features that will be built within the platform, and we will be sure to let you know whenever that happens.
