Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17074.1002 to the Fast ring. The update follows Windows 10 Redstone 4 Insider Preview build 17074 that was rolled out last week. Today's update, however, isn't a major feature-rich release, but brings two important fixes.

Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17074.1002 fixes an issue that was causing some systems with AMD processors to become unbootable. "Today we have released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17074.1002 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring," Microsoft's Dona Sarkar wrote. "This build is the same as the version of Build 17074 released last week with 2 additional fixes." These two fixes include:

We have fixed the issue causing AMD PCs to become unbootable – which means we have removed the block for AMD PCs we put in place last week. And we also fixed the issue causing certain devices to hang on the boot screen after upgrading if virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.

While you might be looking forward to test new features, it appears unlikely if the software maker will release a new Insider Preview build this week. However, if you had an AMD system, at least you will be able to enjoy the Windows 10 Redstone 4 Build 17074 that was packed with a number of features. Complete changelog is available here.
