While Nathan Drake's story won't continue in a new game, there is still an Uncharted 4 story DLC planned by Naughty Dog. According to sources cited by LetsPlayVideoGames, the developer could showcase the highly anticipated Uncharted 4 story DLC for the first time at the PlayStation Experience 2016 (scheduled for December 3rd-4th in Anaheim, California).

LetsPlayVideoGames also has interviewed Troy Baker (who played Nathan Drake's resurfaced brother Samuel) at the MCM Comic Con London, who confirmed that the reveal will happen "pretty soon" and that it will be "by far the biggest story DLC Naughty Dog have ever done".

The website added that the Uncharted 4 story DLC could be stand-alone (meaning that you wouldn't need to own the base game to play it), which wouldn't be a first for Naughty Dog as The Last of Us: Left Behind was also stand-alone. The plot should once again follow the adventures of the Drake brothers, with no involvement of Nathan's own daughter (who appeared in the ending of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End). This was apparently confirmed by Troy Baker himself, who said that both him and fellow voice actor Nolan North (who played Nathan Drake for the entire series) imagined that they would be going on an adventure with Drake's daughter but the writers came up with something a lot more interesting.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End released on May 10th, 2016 exclusively for Sony's PlayStation 4. It received universal critical acclaim, including ours. In fact, here's a quote from our review (9.4/10):

But here's the thing, it's easy to nitpick over Uncharted 4, because it does everything it needs to do better than right. Naughty Dog didn't just go through the paces with this game, they worked hard to make the best game they have ever created, and the best action game this generation. If you own a PlayStation 4, you simply need to play it and if you don't, this is certainly a good reason to purchase the console.

It also sold extremely well, with first week sales surpassing 2.7 millions units (which made it the fastest-selling first party PlayStation 4 game in Europe and North America). We'll keep you updated on any news concerning the Uncharted 4 story DLC.
