The events of The Expanse: A Telltale Series take place before the events narrated in the six-season acclaimed Prime Video TV series adaptation. Camina Drummer, played by Cara Gee just like in the series, is a young XO of a scavenging crew looking for a treasure hidden somewhere around The Belt.

Aboard the Artemis, Camina will have to contend with a dangerous mutiny, deal with an explosive mix of personalities, and ultimately make decisions that will affect the entire crew in classic Telltale Games style.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series also promises the 'largest and most immersive' exploration' in a Telltale title yet, allowing players to scour various locations, including the navigation of dangerous shipwrecks in zero-G environment with thrusters and mag boots. Of course, Camina and her crew will eventually have to fight space pirates, too.

This is the first game made by Telltale Games, revived in August 2019 by LCG Entertainment after the original company went bankrupt. The studio is also working on the long-awaited The Wolf Among Us 2, which is currently scheduled to launch at some point in 2024.
