During this year's EVO, the most important fighting games publishers have made some important announcements regarding their currently available and upcoming titles. Among them was Bandai Namco, with series creator Katsuhiro Harada revealing two new characters that will be coming to the arcade version of the latest entry of the Tekken series and its upcoming PC and console release in the future.

The two new Tekken 7 characters revealed a few hours ago are Bob, a returning character who has been introduced in Tekken 6 and Master Raven, a brand new character who will tear her opponents apart with the power of her ninjutsu fighting skills.

Introduced in TEKKEN 6, Bob is an American fighter that practices Freestyle Karate as his chosen fighting style. Possessing great strength, uncanny speed, and a wide range of attacks, Bob is one of the most well rounded fighters in the TEKKEN series.

The original Raven made his debut in TEKKEN 5 with origins that are still murky today. Now Master Raven enters the fight in TEKKEN 7, executing her ninjutsu fighting skills with exceptional power and precision. Master Raven has no problem tearing her opponents apart in The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Two weeks ago, series creator Katushiro Harada talked about how Pokken Tournament influenced Tekken 7 during development and fighting games in general. Interestingly enough, Katsuhiro Harada feels like fighting games have the chance to attract new players when they showcase technology improvements and when they offer unique characters and settings, which is definitely among the reasons of the popularity of Pokken Tournament.

Tekken 7 launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime during 2017. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as something new comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news on Bandai Namco's upcoming fighting game.
