Last month, Digital Foundry took a good look at Super Mario Odyssey, releasing a technical analysis which confirmed that the game runs at 900p, 60 FPS in docked mode. The resolution drops to 720p in portable mode.

Last month, Dave had the chance to try out a few more Super Mario Odyssey kingdoms, confirming the positive impression he had earlier in the year.

Super Mario Odyssey really is shaping up to be an incredible game, filled to the brim with content and new things to discover. Most importantly, I already feel like this is a game I’m going to remember. I will travel to each kingdom, discover and explore as much as possible, and then in ten, fifteen, or even twenty years I’m going to come back and remember much of it; and that’s a gaming experience that just can’t be overstated.

Super Mario Odyssey launches on October 27th exclusively on Nintendo Switch. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
