Rocksteady is holding a Closed Alpha test for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League next week. Fans registered for the newsletter received an email (shared by ResetEra user MauroNL) providing all the details.

The developers are planning to test the game's online infrastructure. Only a small slice of the campaign will be available in the Closed Alpha, with the additional caveat that it does not represent the final experience as the polish phase is still ongoing.

The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Closed Alpha is set to begin on PC (via Steam, where devs recommend playing with a gamepad), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X on Thursday, November 30 at 6 AM Pacific Time, running through Monday, December 4 at 12 AM Pacific Time.

Notably, the test is under strict NDA:

This test and all related information/content are private and highly confidential. Only participants who accept the terms of an NDA will be able to participate. Any breach of the NDA will result in damage to the launch plans for the game. Posting (or streaming) images/screenshots, videos, or any text-based impressions of your experience online, via social media, or in any public forum is strictly prohibited, as is speaking to press outlets or content creators in any way. Keep in mind that all gameplay is watermarked with a unique identifier tied to your account.

In other Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League news, Rocksteady also published a brief trailer dedicated to Harley Quinn. She's one of the four playable characters available in the game at launch, alongside King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot. Still, the developer already confirmed that post-launch seasonal updates will include new playable characters, story content, missions, gear, weapons, cosmetic items, in-game events, and more. These will be earnable without paying anything.

Meanwhile, the game also offers a cosmetic-only Battle Pass with which players can unlock new outfits, emotes, and other customization items. There are also going to be separate cosmetic items available via direct in-game purchases.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is due on February 2, 2024, though the Digital Deluxe Edition includes a headstart beginning on January 30 (as well as a Battle Pass token).
