Ubisoft Massive was known to be working on a new game based on the Star Wars universe, and today the game has finally been revealed as Star Wars Outlaws.

The game, which received its premiere trailer today during the Xbox Showcase, provides a first look at the setting, main characters, and more. Star Wars Outlaws will be set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and it will feature both iconic and new planets and an experience that seems to be in line with what we have seen in the franchise so far.

Today's Star Wars Outlaws' reveal trailer isn't the last we will see of the game this month, as Ubisoft will reveal its gameplay during tomorrow's Ubisoft Forward. As the game is launching sometime in 2024, and not in 2025 as rumors made us believe, we should expect the development to be in an advanced state, so tomorrow's showcase should definitely deliver on the first open-world Star Wars game ever made.

Star Wars Outlaws launches sometime in 2024 worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide.
