Samsung Galaxy S8 Has Got a New Advertisement Boasting About ‘Infinitely Amazing’ Display
Samsung seems to be on a roll to promote its latest Galaxy S8 flagship. The company had earlier released three advertisements for the devices, mostly highlighting its main features.
In the latest ad, Samsung has mainly focused on the “Infinity.” display which it claims to be “infinitely amazing.” The minute-long ad is posted on Samsung’s official YouTube channel. One thing that is common between every ad of Galaxy S8 is that every video picks out one unique feature on the phone – promoting the software.
Interestingly, we did not see the South Korean giant promoting the hardware on Galaxy S8. It apparently means that Samsung wants to present the Galaxy S8 as an all-round software focus device. Right from Bezel-less design to Bixby joined by other vivid features, Samsung has mentioned it all in the advertisements. But none of the four advertisement have anything to say about the hardware specs.

Whatever may be Samsung’s ad strategy as Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ has emerged as a bigger hit than its predecessor – the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7.
To recap, the Galaxy S8 features 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display panel while the Galaxy S8 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch display. But the resolution on both devices – QHD 2960×1440 pixels. The screen design on both the phones is seamless and bezel-liss, which gives more surface area. Regarding hardware, the U.S. variants of the phones come powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset while other countries have devices that come powered Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset.
All the variants of these Galaxy S8 devices feature 4GB of RAM while the China and Korea-specific limited edition of the Galaxy S8+ feature whopping 6GB of RAM. One of the main attractions on the Galaxy S8 lineup is the Bixby Assistant, but Samsung won’t be able to roll out its voice-assistant at the time of launch. It will arrive later on the devices as Samsung says that it is not completely ready yet. Bixby is Samsung’s answer to Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Cortana.
Base models start at 64GB of storage space and otherwise don’t differ from their counterparts as all members of the Galaxy S8 lineup boast IP68 certification, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and Bixby, Samsung’s new artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that’s meant to serve as an alternative to the Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Cortana.
