Resident Evil VII Biohazard is soon going to hit Nintendo Switch, at least in Japan, in a sort of unexpected way.

Earlier today, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil VII Biohazard will come to Nintendo's console as Resident Evil VII Biohazard Cloud Version, including all the DLC content released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This version of the game will only be playable through streaming, and won't be playable offline in any form. You can check out the trailer right below.

The Resident Evil VII Biohazard Cloud Version is definitely an interesting experiment that could pave the way for other games to become playable on Nintendo Switch through streaming. We obviously don't know how well the game will run, but we won't have to wait much longer to find out, as it launches in Japan on May 24th. A Western announcement hasn't been made so far.

Resident Evil VII Biohazard is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions. The Cloud Version will release in Japan on May 24th. We will keep you updated on the new version of the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
