Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta version 2 features
So the question that remains is that what does this beta version have to offer? This second Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta firmware has the October security patch and has a more improved and stable DeX mode. Another thing mentioned in the changelog is that the new version is offering a more stable Launcher as well. Other than these very technical changes, with the new beta version you will get new clock styles for the lock screen and Always On Display.
You will also be able to adjust the transparency of the notifications and can customize it to whatever is suitable for you. Smart View is much smarter and allows the handset’s screen to go dark when it mirrors between the phone and the TV. This new beta release also comes with many bug fixes. A very interesting thing about this version is that the changelog says that it has the October Security patch; however, the Software information section says that it is the September patch. Well, the company will have to look into this clerical mistake.
Samsung still has to announce when the second phase of the beta program will start. It is expected that that is when the Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta is also expected to be released in the Indian markets. Have you received the new Oreo beta on your Galaxy S8 or S8+ yet?
