The Google I/O 2023 is being hosted on 10th May, and we are all expecting a flurry of devices released during the event. The event will also be the first time we will get a proper announcement for Android 14. After months of leaks and other rumors, we finally have concrete information on when Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold will come out.

Based on a couple of tweets from Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech, the Google Pixel 7a and the Google Pixel Fold will be sharing the stage at Google I/O 2023.

Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a to debut at Google I/O 2023 alongside Pixel 8 and Pixel Tablet

The 7a will be announced at the Google I/O 2023 and will be available to purchase the same day. Google is not killing the Pixel 6a. The phone will be available in Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral (Google Store exclusive).

If you are waiting for the Pixel Fold, then don't worry. You are also going to get that at the event. However, you will have to wait a while before you get your hands on the device.

Prosser claims that the Google Pixel Fold will be announced on May 10th, with pre-orders from Google Store starting the same day, while partners and carriers will have to wait till May 30th. As for the availability, that will take place on 27th June 2023. In a separate tweet, Prosser has also talked about the price - the foldable is going to cost $1,799, which is expected since Samsung also prices the Z Fold in a similar fashion. However, we are not sure if Google's offering will be based on the latest chipset or last year's Tensor G2.

I don't think there is anything about these devices that we need to do. It is safe to say that Google is going big at the I/O 2023. We are getting the Pixel 7a, the Pixel Fold, Pixel 8 series, along with the Pixel Tablet. This is easily going to be one of the packed events by Google. Not to forget, we will also get Android 14 and a lot of other announcements targeted at developers.
