US-based memory manufacturer Origin Code has debuted Vortex DDR5, which offers memory kits in various capacities and a unique cooling system for high performance.

Origin Code Unveils World's "Fastest" High-Capacity DDR5 Memory Modules Called VORTEX DDR5; Available in up to 256 GB Capacity With Triple Fan Solution on Top

This might be the first time you are hearing about Origin Code, a memory brand, which has introduced what it calls the world's fastest high-capacity memory, known as Vortex DDR5. The Vortex DDR5 brings some innovations that aren't usual on memory kits. While the claim of being the fastest high-capacity DDR5 memory hasn't been tested by independent reviewers, the company has provided screenshots showing that the VORTEX DDR5 can reach 6000 MTs with a 256 GB memory kit with an ultra-low latency of CL30.

Apart from high speed and low latency performance, the Vortex DDR5 also brings an active triple-fan memory cooling solution on top. This will directly throw the air on the memory modules for faster heat dissipation while maintaining quieter operation. Origin Code calls it the innovative triple 4020 dual-ball bearing fan module, which features a 40mm x 40mm x 40mm fan configuration, delivering 22.5 CFM of airflow.

The triple fan cooling system is paired with the patented "Scale Cut Cooling Fin" structure, enhancing the cooling to achieve up to 39.8% higher heat dissipation. The modules are made of high-grade aluminum alloy, which offers a mirror-like finish, adding to the aesthetics. According to Origin Code, the Vortex DDR5 can offer high frequencies at incredibly low latencies and also offer Dual EXPO profiles for the 48 GB x2 memory kit that can reach 6000 MT/s at CL26 and up to 8000 MT/s at CL36.

There are three more kits, offering 32 GB (16 GB x 2), 192 GB (48 GB x4), and 256 GB (64 GB x4) capacities that offer up to 6200 MT/s memory speed at just CL26. The company has provided screenshots, proving that these frequencies are highly stable and are easy to achieve at the advertised latency, even on budget motherboards such as B850M Aorus PRO WiFi 7 and PRO X870-P WiF,i with processors like Ryzen 9600X, Ryzen 9700X, and 9900X.

The Vortex DDR5 isn't yet officially launched for purchase, but Origin Code will reveal more information on its pricing and availability in mid-October.
