OneXPlayer Super X Gaming & AI 2-in-1 Tablet Features AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 APU, A 14" 2.8K Display, & Dual SSD Expansion
AMD's Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 APU, alongside the "Strix Halo" lineup, is being adopted in several new AI and gaming platforms. We have seen some handhelds using it, & several Mini PC manufacturers have already adopted this top-tier SOC solution for their products. The latest one is the OneXPlayer SuperX, a 2-in-1 AI & Gaming tablet.

OneXPlayer is known for its strong 2-in-1, handheld, and laptop portfolio, and the Super X is their most powerful design yet. The platform features the top AMD Ryzen AI MAX+395 APU with 16 cores based on the Zen 5 architecture and Radeon 8060S graphics on the same chip, offering RTX 5060 Ti levels of GPU performance with its 40 compute units. The chip also packs a top-notch XDNA 2 NPU, delivering 50 TOPs of AI compute.

Other internal specifications include a dual SSD design with one M.2 2280 slot and one Mini SSD PCIe 4.0 slot. The OneXPlayer Super X also comes in two memory configurations, 64 GB and 128 GB. The device can allocate up to 96 GB of its system memory as VRAM, allowing users to run weighty LLMs with ease. Other than that, you are getting a 14" AMOLED touchscreen which features a maximum resolution of 2.8K or 2880x1800. It supports HDR, VRR, and 4096 levels of stylus pressure sensitivity.
There is also a good mix of IO ports on the aluminum chassis, which is made using CNC. We can spot a few USB Type-C ports, and OneXPlayer has used the Type-C ports for charging on its previous handhelds & 2-in-1 designs too. Following is the full list of IO featured on the device:
- 2x USB-C (Thunderbolt 4)
- 1x HDMI output
- 1x USB-A port
- 1x DC Power input
- 1x Mini SSD (PCIe 4.0) expansion slot

The Super X supports the full 120W TDP, and to cool it down, a high-efficiency vapor chamber is incorporated within the chassis, which is impressive since the device is just 12.5mm thick. The Super X also features a slight RGB touch on the back and comes with a 173-degree bracket for easy viewing angles.
As for pricing and availability, the OneXPlayer Super X should be priced above $1500 US since it's a flagship product, and is being positioned against the ROG Flow Z13 from ASUS. The ROG Flow Z13 itself starts at a hefty $2000 US+ price tag.
