New Mad Box Design Concepts Shared by Slightly Mad CEO; Currently “Hard at Work” With Suppliers on Controllers
The CEO and founder of Slightly Mad Studios, Ian Bell, has taken to Twitter to share brand-new Mad Box design concepts.
Last week we already shared some design renders for the upcoming Mad Box console, and Bell has now shared renders of another design concept.
Based on these renders, Slightly Mad is aiming for a traditional home console with numerous customizations options for the back plate, RGB lighting control, and a display on the front of the console that displays information the game or music that is being played, e-mail notification, and more.
Apparently, the development studio wants to release a console that can either be placed horizontally or vertically, and wall mounting also looks to be a possibility.
Responding to a tweet about the console’s controllers, Bell replied that the team is currently hard at work with suppliers and teased the they will be quite amazing.
Wait until you see our controllers 🙂 Hard at work now with suppliers...

Slightly Mad announced the 4K gaming console last week. The Mad Box is said to be able to run VR titles in 180FPS and will allegedly go beyond next-gen consoles.
A release date hasn’t been announced yet, but Bell has stated that the console will be shipped in around 3 years from now.
